I’ve spent more than 25 years in brand strategy, marketing and visual communication — and like many of the small businesses I work with, I’ve built, run and evolved a business myself.

When I started in design and marketing, we used fax machines and print proofs. Strategy came before the pitch. Decisions were made deliberately, not reactively.

Today, it often works the other way around. Many of us jump straight into tactics: a logo, a Canva template, a Meta ad – without first defining who we are or why we matter. We’re doing all the things, yet wondering why nothing really sticks.

ko&co was created from that lived experience.

At its core, ko&co is about clarity. Helping small business bring structure, direction and design intelligence to their brand and marketing, so everything works together instead of in isolation.

My work blends brand strategy and visual communication with design thinking, lateral thinking and facilitated methods such as Lego Serious Play. It’s about supporting you in distilling complexity, unlocking ideas, and building your brand system so you can grow your business.

Outside of work, you’ll find me chasing the sun, sipping a strong coffee (or a good glass of rosé), and thinking about how good design makes everything work better!
