We didn’t choose South Melbourne because it was trendy. We chose it because it had the energy we were looking for—creative, grounded, ambitious, community-centric. Human.
Many coworking spaces start with a lease.
We started with a feeling.
The feeling of flow when you’re in the zone.
The quiet confidence of working in a space that reflects who you are.
The relief of not needing to apologise for working differently.
The joy of going to work—and no longer feeling isolated or alone when you run a small business or work as a solopreneur.
From the beginning, ko&co workhub wasn’t designed to be just another coworking space in South Melbourne. It was imagined as a full brand experience—a space for solopreneurs, creatives, and small businesses who work with intention.
At ko&co, everything was built with intention—not just functionality.
The name? Short, human, and open-ended, just like the coworking space.
The tone? Warm, bold, and unpolished, in the best way.
The layout? Designed for flow, light, and connection (not just capacity).
The memberships? Built around rhythm and real life, not rigid plans.
The meeting rooms? Named with personality, not default labels.
The imperfections? We kept them. Because we’re not here to be shiny, we’re here to be real.
We didn’t start with marketing. We started with meaning.
Because a brand isn’t just how something looks—it’s how it feels. And when you get the brand right, everything else flows from there: the space, the content, the culture.
We didn’t want you to just rent a desk.
We wanted you to recognise yourself here.
To feel at home in your ambition.
Before ko&co workhub was a brand—it was a need.
After years of working from home as a small business owner, it was time. Time for more structure. More flow. More connection. I wanted a space that felt like me—and I couldn’t find it. So I built it.
ko&co workhub was shaped inside Kendra Creative, our brand lab where I help businesses move forward with clarity, connection, and creative courage. And ko&co workhub has become my most personal project yet.
From the name and brand voice to the artwork, signage, spatial cues, membership structure, and campaign rollout—we’ve led the way. Not just the look, but the feeling of the place.
Because we’re not just designing for clients like you.
We are you.
The result?
A South Melbourne coworking space that doesn’t just look good—but works beautifully. Because it was designed by the people it was made for.
In The Living Brand, author Nicholas Ind writes that a living brand is one that’s “experienced through people, actions and environments”—not just marketing. It’s a brand that lives and breathes through the everyday, evolving in real time and shaped by the people it serves.
ko&co workhub was built with that exact philosophy.
Everything here—how it looks, how it feels, how it supports your rhythm—is designed to express what we believe: that work should feel human, and ambition doesn’t have to mean isolation.
This isn’t just branding on the walls.
It’s the experience of walking into a coworking space that reflects how you want to work and who you want to be while doing it.
You don’t need to know any of this to enjoy being here.
But once you feel it—you’ll understand it.
Because when a coworking space is shaped with brand-level intention, something shifts. You focus faster. You feel more seen. You work better—not because someone told you to, but because the space itself supports it.
Whether you’re building a brand, running a business, or simply trying to find your rhythm—this idea applies to you, too.
A living brand isn’t just what you say. It’s how you show up.
It’s how your space feels.
It’s how your values translate into action.
Ask yourself:
Do my clients feel what I stand for?
Does my environment support the work I want to do?
Is my brand something people can experience—not just see?
At ko&co workhub, we didn’t want to build a brand that sits still.
We built one that lives – as a coworking space and community.
Looking for a coworking space in South Melbourne that’s been designed with intention? Come and feel the difference at ko&co.
