Dear 9 to 5
We need to talk. About brand, thinking, design and work.
This is a space for questioning the inherited ideas we carry about work, and the brands we build around them.
Here, brand strategy meets decision-making. Design is treated as intelligence, not decoration. And marketing works best when it’s grounded in direction, structure and intent.
Written from inside ko&co, we explore brand, design and work. How they show up together, how they’re articulated, and how work flows better when it’s designed properly.
Less noise. Better thinking about brand, design and the way we work.

Designed to feel different: ko&co workhub is a brand-led coworking space.
ko&co workhub in South Melbourne—an intentionally designed coworking space built as a living brand.
More than desks and Wi-Fi, it’s a place shaped by strategy, story, and soul—where everything from the name to the light switch was created to support the way bold small businesses actually work.

What kind of coworker are you?
Not all coworkers are created equal. Whether you’re escaping your home office, dodging café chaos, or craving community, this blog helps you find your work style—and see how the ko&co workhub setup fits. Designed for real people, backed by science, and built for flexibility in the heart of South Melbourne.

Today’s the day | launching ko&co workhub
It started with a feeling (and a few too many Teams meetings at the kitchen bench).
ko&co workhub is now officially open—a new coworking space in South Melbourne built for small business owners who are done working alone and ready to plug into something better. Here’s the story behind the space—and why we built it for you.

From idea to reality: Why I built ko&co workhub
When I launched Kendra Creative, I built it on one belief — strategy and creativity should never feel disconnected from the people they’re for. Over time, that belief evolved into something bigger: a space where brand thinking meets real human connection.
That’s how ko&co workhub began — not from a business plan, but from a feeling.
Because working for yourself shouldn’t mean working alone.
ko&co is more than desks and meeting rooms. It’s the physical extension of everything I’ve always believed about brand, culture and community — built for people who want to do meaningful work, with others who get it.
